Rohru to Asian Games and now dreams are set for Olympics. Jyotika is a 26 years old fencer from Rohru, Himachal Pradesh. Her interest in the sport kept on growing once her cousin introduced it to her and in 2010 she went for her Sports Authority of India trials. Since getting selected there NIS Patiala has become her second home. Through her dedication and family’s constant support, she has won numerous accolades throughout the years including Gold medal at the 2020 Khelo India University Games. She also represented India in the 2018 Asian Games and reached the quarter finals.
Jyotika now aims to participate and win in the Olympics 2024. For that, she needs to improve her ranking and qualification chances which further requires better training and preparation facilities.
